How To Test If Your Blog Was Hit By Recent Google Penguin Update (3.2-3.4)?

Recent Google Penguine Update (3.2-3.4)

Asalaam alaikum brothers and sisters. May peace and blessing be on you all. I had been recently off the blog and couldn't update you friends with the latest happenings all around, and one of the mightiest change was the arrival of recent Google update (i.e Google Penguin 3.2). If you're a webmaster who owns a web property in one shape or another knows quite a bit of how Google updates work.

The recent Google Penguin that was confirmed by the search engine giant was Penguin 3.1, though various updates in the line after that had been recorded by third party publishers namely 3.2,3.3 and 3.4.

 Recent Google Penguine Update

Today's post is short and simple. Below are the few steps I've compiled that you can follow and understand if your web property got hit by the search engine updates that Google didn't shy off from launching on the new year.

Steps To Test If Your Website/Blog Was Hit By Google Updates

1- Visit Fruitation.net
2- Create a free account. (Activate the account using your email)
3- Sign in.

Once signed in, you'll be redirected to your Dashboard. Remember, fruiation offers a premium version of the account too that offers to show more in depth analysis of the effects of these Google updates on your web property. Also, in the free version of the account, the user ain't allowed to view updates for the recent 3 months.

With the free version though, you'll get an idea if something is fishy in your websites/blog's search engine traffic trend, and you can most likely sort that out.

So, once you're in your Dashboard, (checkout the screen shot below of the Dashboard and how it looks like), you can then choose any of your property (blog/website) that you registered to analyze.

Also, Fruitation would ask your Google Analytics account access to analyze the traffic you're receiving. So, go ahead and authorize it. (You can always de-authorize it if you'd like.)

Now to analyze your website/blog, simply hit 'start tracking' and you'd see the percentage of Impact Probability.

So, there you go, jump on to Fruitation and analyze your blogs now. In the future, I'll hopefully be posting steps that you could take to recover from specific Google Updates (If they have put a negative impact on your search engine traffic.)
